With every daily newspaper and social networks trending with a buzz word ‘Crypto-Currency’ and since perception created around quick money, Indians are more than curious about this new Tech/Pseudo currency. Let's understand what is the technology behind Bitcoin, pros & cons and relevance in the Indian context.

Technology Backbone - Blockchain is a robust technology that reminds you of the internet in the early '90: It packs the potential to change the way we live, work, consume and interact. Blockchains are a real-time ledger of records stored in a distributed, peer-to-peer fashion independent from any central authority. Since every record is encrypted and time-stamped and users can only access and edit the block they “own” through a private key, it’s very secure. Every block is linked to the one before and the one after it – forms a chain, and whenever a change is made, the entire chain gets updated. Blockchain helps secure and update transactions efficiently without requiring mediators to manage the process. Blockchain technology is revolutionary in terms of record keeping and can track and document every change in a record or transaction. By allowing digital information to be distributed but not copied, blockchain technology created the backbone of a new type of internet. Originally invented for the digital currency, Bitcoin, the tech community is now finding other potential uses for the technology.

Technology that is safe within - Blockchain technology is like the internet in that it has a built-in robustness. By storing blocks of information that are identical across its network, the blockchain cannot - be controlled by any single entity; has no single point of failure. The blockchain database isn’t stored in any single location, meaning the records it keeps are truly public and easily certifiable. No centralized version of this information exists for a hacker to corrupt. Hosted by millions of computers simultaneously, its data is accessible to anyone on the internet.

The blockchain network lives in a state of consensus, one that automatically checks in with itself every ten minutes. A kind of self-auditing ecosystem of a digital value, the network reconciles every transaction that happens in ten-minute intervals. Each group of these transactions is referred to as a “block”. Two important properties result from this:

1.   Transparency data is embedded within the network as a whole, by definition it is public.

2.   It cannot be corrupted altering any unit of information on the blockchain would mean using a huge amount of computing power to override the entire network.

Currency is not the only application - Bitcoin — the most popular blockchain application — is just one use of the technology. Blockchain technology has applicability to many business areas including government, healthcare, education, manufacturing, energy, and supply chain. In the case of Walmart, IBM was able to reduce a food tracing process from six days to about two seconds, using blockchain. "That kind of transformation can really speed up the decision-making process so you can minimize the health risk from a food-borne illness," said the IBM blockchain unit head. Blockchain enables many different peer-to-peer situations that eliminates middle people. So anything to do with the so-called back-office functions that exist in many firms, especially in financial firms, those are going to be the first job to disappear.

Leaders of major financial institutions where security is supreme and change are often resisted see enough upside in blockchain technology that they have been willing to invest millions in resources to learn how to best implement it. And, they are not alone. Any business with valuable digital assets from contacts to contracts they need to protect can find a legitimate use case for blockchain technology.

The India Story so far and opportunities– With Indians are getting amazed, excited by news about Bitcoin’s quick and multi-fold ROI; finding ways to invest in it. Indian regulators like RBI seems to be in double mind. However, with Reliance’s announcement of its venture (JioCoin), soon regulators in India will have to make it a legitimate affair.

A lot of Indian players have tested usage of Blockchain in the areas of Trade Finance, Cross-border Payments, Bill Discounting, Supply chain financing, Loyalty and Digital Identity areas. Some of the Indian banks, business conglomerates, and one stock exchange are among the pioneers for exploring Blockchain in India. However early adopters eyes challenges in – Lack of internal awareness, identification of business cases & partners, selection of vendors, security and integration issues.

The blockchain gives internet users the ability to create value and authenticates digital information. Following are new business applications areas Indian entities can explore:

•   Smart contracts - Distributed ledgers enable the coding of simple contracts that will execute when specified conditions are met.

•   The sharing economy - With companies like Uber and Airbnb flourishing, the sharing economy is already a sure success. By enabling peer-to-peer payments, the blockchain opens the door to direct interaction between parties — a truly decentralized sharing economy results.

•   Crowdfunding - Crowdfunding initiatives abroad like Kickstarter and Gofundme are doing the advance work for the emerging peer-to-peer economy.

•   Governance - By making the results fully transparent and publicly accessible, distributed database technology could bring full transparency to elections or any other kind of poll taking.

•   Supply chain auditing - Consumers gradually want to know that the ethical claims companies make about their products are real. Transparency comes with blockchain-based timestamping of a date and location — on ethical diamonds, for instance — that resembles a product number.

•   File storage - Distributing data throughout the network protects files from getting hacked or lost.

•   Prediction markets - Prediction markets that payout according to event outcomes are already active.

•   Protection of intellectual property - Smart contracts can protect copyright and automate the sale of creative works online, eliminating the risk of file copying and redistribution.

•   Internet of Things (IoT) - A combination of software, sensors, and the network facilitates an exchange of data between objects and mechanisms. The result increases system efficiency and improves cost monitoring.

•   Neighbourhood Microgrids - Blockchain technology enables the buying and selling of the renewable energy generated by neighborhood microgrids.

•   Identity management - Distributed ledgers offer enhanced methods for proving who you are, along with the possibility to digitize personal documents. Having a secure identity will also be important for online interactions — for instance, in the sharing economy.

•   AML and KYC - Currently, financial institutions must perform a labor-intensive multi-step process for each new customer. KYC costs could be reduced through cross-institution client verification and at the same time increase monitoring and analysis effectiveness.

•   Land title registration - As Publicly-accessible ledgers, blockchains can make all kinds of record-keeping more efficient. Property titles are a case in point. They tend to be susceptible to fraud, as well as costly and labor-intensive to administer.

•   Stock trading - The potential for added efficiency in share settlement makes a strong use case for blockchains in stock trading. When executed peer-to-peer, trade confirmations become almost instantaneous (as opposed to taking three days for clearance). Potentially, this means intermediaries — such as the clearinghouse, auditors, and custodians — get removed from the process.

एका भारतीय विमान संशोधकाची शोकांतिका....

"प्राचीन हिंदू हवेत फ़क्त संचारच नव्हे तर युद्धेही करू शकत असत आणि त्यात प्रतिस्पर्ध्यावर वर्चस्वाचा एखाद्या गरुडाप्रमाणे प्रयत्न करीत. हे सर्व करण्यासाठी त्यांना याबाबतीतील सर्व शास्त्रीय माहिती, वातावरण,तापमान,विविध वायूंचे विशिष्ट गुरुत्व,घनता यांचा अभ्यास करूनच प्राप्त केली असणार हे निश्चित"-----------१८८१ मध्ये अलाहाबादमधील व्याख्यानामधील कर्नल ओल्कॉट (Col. Olcott) यांचे उद्गार.

सध्याच्या सहस्त्रकात हवेत उडणार्‍या यंत्राची १०० वर्षे साजरी करतोय, पण त्याचबरोबर प्राचीन भारतीय विमानांबद्दलची उत्सुकताही या १०० वर्षांत तितक्याच प्रमाणात वाढली आहे. कारण १७ डिसें.१९०३ च्या राईट बंधूंच्या विमान उड्डाणाआधी ८ वर्षे इ.स. १८९५ मध्ये मुंबईच्या चौपाटीवर शिवकर बापूजी तळपदे आणि त्यांच्या पत्नीने हवेत उडण्याचे चित्तथरारक प्रात्यक्षिक दाखवले होते, ही नवीन माहिती उजेडात आली आहे.
इ.स. १८६४ साली महाराष्ट्रातील "पाठारे प्रभू" समाजात श्री. शिवकर बापूजी तळपदे यांचा जन्म झाला. मुंबईतील चिराबाजार येथील डुक्करवाडीत त्यांचे वास्तव्य होते.जिथे तळपदे रहात होते तो भाग आता गिरगावमधील नागिनदास शाह मार्ग म्हणून ओळखला जातो.

तळपदेंचा भारतीय वेद व संस्क्रूत साहित्याचा गाढा अभ्यास होता. तळपदेंचे एक चरित्रकार श्री. रत्नाकर महाजन यांच्या म्हणण्यानुसार, संस्क्रूत पंडीत असल्यामुळे तळपदेंना विमानशास्त्रात रूची निर्माण झाली होती. त्यांनी महर्षी भारद्वाज यांचे ब्रुहद वैमानिक शास्त्र, आचार्य नारायणमुनी यांचे विमानचंद्रिका, महाऋषी शौनिक यांचे विमान-यंत्र, महर्षी गर्गमुनी यांचे यंत्रकल्प, आचार्य वचस्पती विमानबिंदू, महर्षी धुंडीराज यांचे विमान ज्ञानार्क प्रकाशक, यांसारख्या वैदीक ग्रंथांचा अभ्यास केला होता.
तळपदे यांच्या अभ्यासात वेदांबरोबरच इतर शास्त्रज्ञांच्या शोधाचाही समावेश होता. उदा. मशिनगनचा संशोधक मॅक्झिमच्या प्रोपेलरवर चालणार्‍या वाफ़ेच्या इंजिनाचा समावेश होता तळपदेंच्या संशोधनात....!! मात्र काही तांत्रिक कारणांमुळे ते इंजिन हवेत झेपावू शकले नाही, हा भाग वेगळा!! तळपदेंचा हा इतरांच्या संशोधनाचाही त्यांना विमानशास्त्रात काहितरी करून दाखवण्याची नवी प्रेरणा देवून गेला.

शिवकर बापूजी तळपदेंनी ऋग्वेदातील काही श्लोक, तसेच वैमानिक शास्त्रात सांगितल्याप्रमाणे पार्‍याचे चार सिलिंडर्स वर्तुळाकार सांगाड्यात बसवले होते. एकदा का हे सिलिंडर्स बसवले की, सूर्यकिरण आणि पारा यांच्यातील शक्तीचा वापर करून विमान आकाशात उडत असे आणि सहजतेने बरेच अंतर कापू शकत असे. विशेष गोष्ट म्हणजे "नासा" ही अमेरीकेची संस्थाही एक आयन इंजीन बनवण्याचा प्रयत्न करतेय, ज्यात गुरुत्वाकर्षणाला विरोध करण्यासाठी सध्याच्या "जेट" इंजीनाऐवजी "अति वेगवान" असे Electrified Particles वापरता येतील. बंगलोर येथील "इंडियन इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ सायन्स" या संस्थेच्या संशोधनानुसार तळपदे यांनी प्राचीन वेदांतील वैमानिक शास्त्राचा वापर करून पंडीत सुब्बार्य शास्त्री यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली आपल्या विमानाचा आराखडा केला होता. ओरविल आणि विल्बर राईट यांनी पक्ष्यांच्या उडण्याचा अभ्यास करून त्यानुसार त्यांनी त्यांच्या विमानाचा आराखडा केला होता. त्यानुसारच त्यांनी कॅलिफ़ोर्नियाच्या किटी हॉक समुद्रकिनार्‍यावर १७ डिसें १९०३ रोजी विमानाचे यशस्वी प्रात्यक्षिक दाखवले होते. त्यांचे हे उड्डाण ३७ सेकंद हवेत यशस्वीरित्या स्थिरावले होते.

तळपदेंचा एक विद्यार्थी श्री. सातवेलकर यांच्या नोंदीनुसार तळपदे यांचे "मरुत्सखा" हे मानवरहीत विमान १५०० फ़ूट हवेत काही मिनिटे यशस्वीरित्या झेपावले आणि नंतर जमिनीवर उतरले. श्री.प्रताप वेलकर यांच्या लिखाणानुसार ज्या विमानाचा उल्लेख ऐतिहासिक विमान म्हणून केला गेला त्या विमानाचा सांगाडा तळपदेंच्या मृत्यूनंतर बरीच वर्षे त्यांच्या राहत्या घरी धूळ खात पडला होत. वेलकर म्हणतात, तळपदेंचा एक पुतण्या रोशन तळपदे आणि त्यांच्या कुटुंबातील लोक "त्या" विमानाच्या सांगाड्यात बसत आणि आपण जणू काही आकाशातच विहार करीत आहोत अशी कल्पना करीत. विलेपार्ले येथील विमानांच्या प्रदर्शनात "मरुत्सखा"ची प्रतिकृतीही मांडण्यात आली होती. वेलकरांना याच गोष्टीची खंत आहे की तळपदे यांच्या विमानाला "नेहरू सेंटर" सारख्या वैज्ञानिक वस्तूसंग्रहालयातही स्थान मिळाले नाही. मात्र,या ऐतिहासिक प्रयोगाबाबतची काही महत्वाची कागदपत्रे आजही बंगलोरच्या "हिंदुस्थान एरोनॉटिक्स लिमिटेड" या संस्थेत जतन करून ठेवण्यात आली आहेत.

श्री.तळपदे या प्रयोगापुढे आणखी संशोधन करू इच्छित होते. त्यासाठी त्यांनी अहमदाबाद येथील सर्वसाधारण सभेत तसे ५००००/- साठी जाहीर आवाहनही केले होते. मात्र, त्याचा काहीच उपयोग झाला नाही. याउलट अमेरीकेतील लश्कराने राईट बंधूंना त्यांच्या पुढील संशोधनासाठी २५००० डॉलर्सची मदत केली होती. केवढा हा विरोधाभास? याचाच परिणाम म्हणून राईट बंधूंनी अमेरिकेच्या युद्धाची गणितेच पार बदलून टाकली. याचे जगावर झालेले परिणाम पहिल्या व दुसर्‍या महायुद्धात विमानांच्या वापरामुळे सार्‍या जगाने पाहिले आहेत? अशीच मदत जर तळपदेंना मिळाली असती तर??????

श्री. तळपदेंच्या मुंबईच्या चौपाटीवरील विमानाच्या पहिल्या प्रयोगाच्या वेळी बडोद्याचे संस्थानिक श्री. सयाजीराव गायकवाड, न्यायमूर्ती रानडे हे उपस्थित होते. श्री. गायकवाड हे तर तळपदेंच्या प्रयोगामुळे इतके भारवले की, त्यापुढे तळपदेंच्या पाठीशी त्यांच्या प्रत्येक प्रयोगात ते खंबीरपणे उभे राहिले होते. मात्र, त्यावेळी हिंदुस्थानवर ब्रिटिश राजवट होती. एका भारतीयाने एखादा अद्वितीय शोध लावावा आणि तोही प्राचीन भारतीय वेदांचा अभ्यास करून ही भारतीय संस्कृतीचे श्रेष्ठत्व इंग्रजांना रुचले नाही. त्यामुळे श्री.तळपदेंचा हा यशस्वी प्रयोग इंग्रजांनी यशस्वीरित्या दाबून टाकला. त्यांनी प्रथम श्री. तळपदेंचा प्रमुख आर्थिक मदतीचा स्रोत म्हणजे बडोद्याचे महाराज सयाजीराव गायकवाड यांच्यावर दबाव टाकून ते तळपदेंना करत असलेली मदत ताबडतोब बंद करण्यास सांगितले. त्यामुळे तळपदेंचा आर्थिक कणाच मोडून पडला. त्यांनी पुढील प्रयोगासाठी वापरलेला पैसा परत करण्यासाठी तर त्यांच्या कुटुंबियांना ऐतिहासिक विमान "मरुत्सखा"चे सुटे भागही विकावे लागले.याचा प्रचंड मानसिक धक्का बसून तळपदेंच्या पत्नीचे देहावसान झाले. "मरुत्सखा" बरोबरच आपल्या कुटुंबियांची होत असलेली पडझड तळपदेंना आणखी बघवली नाही.

दुर्दैवाने त्यांचे "विमानशास्त्रा"तील लक्ष उडाले. तळपदेंचे चरित्रकार श्री.वेलकर यासंदर्भात लिहितात की, उडण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करणार्‍या पण पंख कापलेल्या एखाद्या पक्ष्यासारखी तळपदेंची अवस्था झाली होती.

विमानशास्त्रातील संशोधनात सावलीप्रमाणेच श्री. तळपदेंच्या बरोबर राहणार्‍या त्यांच्या पत्नीप्रमाणेच, या परकीय राजवटीच्या स्वार्थीपणाला, स्वकीयांच्याच उदासीनतेला कंटाळून श्री. शिवकर बापूजी तळपदेही इस.स १९१६ मध्ये हे स्वार्थी जग सोडून कायमचे निघून गेले. त्यांच्याबरोबर त्यांचे संशोधन, भारतीय साहित्य बरीच वर्षे अंधारातच होते. मात्र,भारताच्या स्वातंत्र्यानंतरच त्यांचे संशोधन उजेडात येवू लागले. बंगलोर येथील एक फ़ोटोजर्नॅलिस्ट श्री.अय्यर यांनी तळपदे यांच्या संशोधनाचा पाठपुरावा केला आणि १९९५ मध्ये त्यांनी तळपदे यांच्या कुटुंबियांना भेटून तळपदेंच्या शोधाविषयी कागदपत्रे "हिंदुस्थान एरॉनॉटिक्स लिमिटेड" कडे सूपूर्द केली.

हे लिखाण, हे सिद्ध करू शकत नाही की प्राचीन भारतीय प्रत्यक्षात विमाने बनवत होते की नाही, पण यावरून एक गोष्ट नक्की की, प्राचीन भारतीयांना विमाने कशी बनवतात याचे ज्ञान जरूर होते. कारण सर्वात आश्च्र्यजनक बाब म्हणजे आजही बर्‍याचशा भारतीय भाषांत "विमान" अथवा त्याचा अपभ्रंश "बिमान" या शब्दाचा वापर होतो, हीच गोष्ट प्राचीन भारतीयांचे "विमानशास्त्र" सिद्ध करण्यास पुरेशी आहे. आताच्या Air Craft सारख्या ओढून-ताणून बनवलेल्या शब्दासारखा नव्हे..........!!!



रविवारी सुट्टीच्या दिवशी मुंबईच्या चौपाटीवरच फ़िरताना आकाशात स्वच्छंदपणे विहार करणारी विमाने पाहून याच भूमीवरच कधी काळी एका मराठी शास्त्रज्ञाने पहिल्यांदा विमान उडवले असेल असा विचारही आपल्या मनात शिवत नाही, कारण येथे तळपदेंचे कुठलेही स्मारकही नाही. म्हणूनच,या संशोधकाचे आणि त्याच्या शोधाचे गूढ हे शेवटपर्यंतच गूढच राहीले...!! इ.स. ११९३ साली बख्तियार खिल्जीच्या इस्लामी हल्ल्यात कायमचेच नष्ट झालेल्या नालंदा विद्यापिठासारखे.!!!!

जन्मोजन्मीचं वैर काढत
तो दिवसरात्र तिच्याशी भांडत असतो
कोण म्हणतो लग्नाच्या गाठी
देव स्वर्गात बांधत असतो

लग्नापूर्वीचे गुलाबी दिवस
लग्नानंतर राहत नाही
एकदा लग्न लावून दिलं की
देवसुद्धा खाली पाहत नाही.

मग लग्नापूर्वीचा तो हुशार नवरा
तिला भलताच चक्रम वाटायला लागतो
...आणि हळुहळू तिच्या चेह-यावरचा
प्रेमळ मुखवटा फाटायला लागतो.

आपला नवरा बैल आहे
असं प्रत्येक बाईला वाटत असतं

लखलखती शुक्राची चांदणी असते
हिच्या डोक्यात गोडा मसाला
आणि वर्षभराची भाजणी असते

प्रेमात रंगून, नशेत झिंगून
खूपसं जवळ, काहीसं लांबून

1.1st Political Party in India to put control on ‘Hoardings’ & ‘Banners’ - When we visit any part of our cities we see ‘Birthday wishes posters’, ‘Welcome posters for key leaders’. These posters are contributing to the pollution and cause harm to the charm of our city. MNS is the 1st party in India who has taken initiative to control this. As a new year resolution, Mr. Raj Thacheray, has asked all its party worker to stop putting up banners and hoardings for Birthday wishes and Welcome. Only those posters which will have some useful information for common public are allowed to put. Those party workers, who will not follow this guideline, will be thrown out of the MNS. 2. MNS MLA Mr. Ram Kadam’s office received ISO 9000 certificate – It is only the second MLA office in India to receive such certification, after Mr. Narendra Modi. This office of Mr. Ram Kadam in Ghatkopar has no door, it works 24x7. MLA has appointed 10 employees on salary basis to serve common public. Any person from his constituency can visit this office any time for any help. Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena (Cineworkers) is the 1st union in India to get Insurance Cover of INR 50000/- each – We are crazy about Movies in India, but no one cares about for those work behind the scene (Spot boys, Technician etc). MNCKS has given medical and accidental insurance over of INR 50000/- each to all the members of MNCKS. As a result of this many such artist and technicians are joining them. 4. Home for the ‘National Award Winning Child Actor – ‘Tingya’ –Sharad Goyekar – Marathi film ‘Tingya’ was nominated as an entry to Oscar in 2008, for which child actor Sharad Goyekar bagged National Award for the Best Child actor. In real life, Sharad was not having shelter for him and his family. His father is a ‘Farm worker’ in Rajuri village, around 100 km from Pune. After repeated appeals to the government for a house under special quota for artists, he lost hopes for the house. Many political parties promised him for the same and never returned. Mr Raj Thacheray, asked one of his MLA Mr. Shishir Shinde to look in to the matter personally and built a house for Sharad Goyekar in his village from MNS party fund. Now Sharad live in his own home since 2010.

5. Clean and Educated candidates for Kalyan Dombivali Muncipal Corporation election in 2010 – We always crib about the criminal background and less educated politician; even some political parties do so, but when it comes to election ticket, they prefer ‘tanned candidates’. To stop this culture, Mr Raj Thackeray in recent KDMC election gave 100% clean and well-educated candidates on 90% seats. Candidates were MBAs, Engineers, Pilot, Journalist etc. Who are willing to do something for the society! And people have voted for them!

6. Entrance exam for candidates seeking election tickets – Many new candidates who get elected in elections for the first time, has no clue what to do in an Assembly or Municipal corporation, as there are many procedures to follow to get your work done. Hence they spend couple of years to learn what to do & how to do; and finally after 5 years their performance gets affected. To get some solution over this issue MNS decided to take some initiative. All MNS party workers who wish to contest any election need to pass 3 tests to qualify as a perspective candidate for the election. मराठी भाषा अभिमान सप्ताह

२००५ सालच्या मुंबई फेस्टिव्हल साठी ६३ मुलांना मंगेश पाडगांवकरांनी लिहिलेली “तुझा सूर्य उगवे आम्ही प्रकाशात न्हातो ” ही प्रार्थना सादर केली. याच प्रार्थनेने या सोहळ्याचा प्रारंभ झाला. ही आनंदाची गोष्ट आहे. दुःखाची बाब अशी की पुढच्या ३ तासांच्या सोहळ्यामध्ये नाना पाटेकर यांनी केलेले उत्स्फूर्त भाषण सोडले, तर मराठीचे एकही अक्षर उच्चारले गेले नाही.
ही वस्तुस्थिती आज आपल्याला सर्वत्र पाहावयास मिळते. महाराष्ट्रात मुंबई आहे पण मुंबईत महाराष्ट्र कुठे दिसत नाही. मुंबईच्या एकाही व्यावसायिक रेडियो वाहिनीवर एकही मराठी गाणं लागत नाही. आपल्या मातृभाषेत आपल्याला भाजीपाला विकत घेता येत नाही, आपल्या मातृभाषेत एका जागेवरून दुस-या जागी जाता येत नाही. आपल्याच राजधानीत मराठीला दुय्यम स्थान मिळतं ही खेदाची गोष्ट आहे.
प्रश्न फक्त मुंबईचाही नाही. मराठी लोकांमध्ये मराठीच्या बाबतीत एक औदासिन्य
आहे की काय अशी शंका येत राहते. चळवळीच्या नावाखाली काही हिंसक घडामोडी, जाळपोळ आणि भयंकर अस्थिर वातावरण एवढंच मराठीच्या वाट्याला येतं. तुमच्या आमच्यासारखी माणसं या तथाकथित चळवळींचा हिस्सा होत नाहीत आणि याची
कारणं स्पष्ट आहेत. पण म्हणून मराठीची अवहेलना होण्याचं थांबत नाही.
मला प्रामाणिकपणे वाटतं की एक चळवळ जनसामान्यांमधूनच जन्मली पाहिजे. मराठीसाठी आपण मराठी भाषिकांनी एकत्र यायची आज जितकी गरज आहे तितकी यापूर्वी कधीच नव्हती. अमराठी लोकांनी मराठीचा आदर बाळगण्याचा आग्रह
धरण्याआधी मराठी लोकांमध्ये मराठीचा अभिमान रुजवायची गरज अधिक आहे.
मराठीला एका अभिमानगीताची गरज आहे.

As an actor Shahrukh is among the face of the Indian film industry. But with respect to the current issue he has once again fooled us! We all know that, he is a master of publicity and public relations. However it always doesn't work as one expects. Present issue is the best example. If Shahrukh was so concern about his friends in Pakistan, then why didn't he buy a single player in KKR from Pakistan? It was easily possible being the owner of the team. His statement n concern was purely a publicity stunt for his movie - my name is......... If we apply this logic to this issue, then Shivsena also has all the rights to materialize the golden opportunity to recreate its buzz. However I am not supporting Shivsena, because if they demands apology from Shahrukh on Pakistan issue then why not from entire Bollywood. Many singers from Pakistan come to sing in Bollywood films, even without having Indian work permit.

Everyone is concern for his or her own interest. Hence lets not get bias because we love some actor or support some political party! But also think over that, how ethical it is to enjoy music or cricket or any other source of entertainment with or from people who promote terrorism in our country. How could we have two different stands when we face terror attacks and when it comes to entertainment. Think of those families who have sacrificed their love ones in terror attacks. Even we could be the next victim or someone from our family!

Someone may argue that, what we can do about it. Government is doing its work. From past 50 years our government is making some efforts, but any solution? What we could do as a common man? Remember the 'non cooperation' movement during our freedom fight? Same way say no to these guys who come to our country and earn money! This will also result in some pressure on the Pakistan government from their own people! Doing agitation on the road might be a 'goonda gardi' for white-collar people, but at least we all could do this right?

I am not here to talk about how India's GDP is growing and how corporate India is making difference to the World economy. Rather I am interested in talking about what difference its making to the common middle class man who live in 28 states & some union territories of India. But for some people India is only equal to some cosmopolitan cities. People from this India may go on a short holiday on 15th August, 26th January and on election day, instead of performing their first duty of that particular day; still they give us how to think about India as a one country!!!!!!!

One of the reason, why I want to talk about this is recent visit of Mr. Rahul Gandhi to Mumbai. Yesterday I was wondering is President of India visiting Mumbai? I happened to listen to his speech at Bhaidas Hall this morning on one Marathi News Channel (don't worry it was uncut version unlike other Hindi & English media). His speech was impressive and crowd was responding to it enthusiastically. Its a positive sign for Indian politics that, youths are taking interest in politics. Mr. Rahul Gandhi reminds me of his father Mr. Rajiv Gandhi. As a young kid, I was his great fan!!! His speech was roaming around two issues - 1) Two type of people in India - One who believe in one India and others who believe in divided India. 2)Youth needs to join politics even if they don't have any political godfather = join Indian Youth Congress!!

For his second issue I don't have any problem; he was simply doing his business. For the first issue he was talking about one India, but he was addressing to only 10%-20% of Indians!!! Yes, India is one; we are first Indian!!! But how the issues of local are less important who live in their cities and states for all their life. A person who live in Kolhapur, Surat, Meerut, Kanyakumari goes to other state or city max to max ten time in his entire life; unless he is a central government employee or IT/Technology professional. Hence the issues at micro level does affect us more compare to macro level. I agree to the concept of THINK BIG, THINK GLOBAL. But we always forget to act locally!!! which is more important. For past 50-60 years the party who is ruling India is doing the same. They think in broader manner and their approach is with only for 10-20% of Indians. This makes rich richer and poor poorer. The finance minister of this county consult with top industrialist before the annual budget. However, he doesn't feel the necessity to have dialogues with farmers.

Mr. Gandhi when you want one India, don't be biased with locals. They guys you were speaking with yesterday was from SVKM who come in luxury cars and sport bikes or live king size life. What difference they will make by coming in politics. They join politics to run their business. Thats the reason why all government tenders get allotted to these guys only. And above all SVKM is Gujarati minority trust, where students of Gujarati origin get 50% reservation. These are such institutes all across Maharashtra! Instead of thinking about entire India, if we start performing our duties at local level; India will certainly become stronger nation. Nothing will happen if we continue abuse Raj Thackrey or someone else on social networking sites or online news papers!! Be the change you want to be!!!!

Again coming back to Mr. Rahul Gandhi. I believe he is 50% genuine guy. But certain facts he could not deny. He was telling student, join Indian Youth Congress if they want to become leader in democratic way. But the fact is; he will become PM of India in coming years, because he is from Gandhi family. Also look into your party first, on the name of development your MLAs, MP are developing new slums in Mumbai. If he is no keen about common man, why farmers of Maharashtra still attempting suicide? Who got benefited from last year's 8 Crores package for farmers? Few rich farmers of Western Maharashtra? Why condition of Vidharbh is still the same? This because your politics is only roaming around 10-20% of Indians.

People say 'Marathi Manoos' has become selfish and only hate other these days!!! Why shouln't I if our water, our electricity and resources are getting steal by the unauthorised people who have migrated from other states, even after paying heavy taxes. You may not understand the pain of Marathi Manoos only by travelling in less crowded train in off-peak hour for one day! Once come in Virar-Churchgate train at around 8.00am on weekday (without your z security). Or go to Lalbaugh-Parel where clothe mill workers are fighting for their rights from 20 years. Last generation of Mill workers became gangsters and bar-girls because your 10-20% people left nothing for them. Entire India get united when some one slap UP/BIhari taxiwala, but do we react the same way when farmer force to suicide because their 60% of electricity get diverted to keep Mumbai glittering? Now think who is discriminating? Why you see only Gupta, Yadav, Pandey in MTNL?

Our generation needs think rationally. Keep your eyes open. Don't get driven by some English/Hindi channels and some soft-spoken political parties, who make Rs. 450Cr sea-link in Rs. 1000Cr and rob us on the name of non-secularism! Lets not judge everything in terms of money and benefit or what I get? Also think about what people are me are getting!! Don't expect politician to think about other unless you do!!!
